Strensall and Huntington WI rose to the challenge of providing Yarn bombing for the Women’s World Cup Rugby, we already had the bunting which we originally created for the Coronation and have used every year since for Strensall Carnival, so our WI ladies quickly knitted red roses and green leaves, every thing was sewn together and rethreaded without using the blue triangles.
