Once again tutor Helen Drye guided us through a workshop to create our individual pieces using silver clay and sea glass (literally bits of broken glass that has been tumbled by the waves to give soft edges and colours).
We formed unique charms using silver clay that was moulded, kiln fired and then polished by hand. The most daunting thing was drilling a hole in the sea glass! The secret was to do it under water – no snorkel required!
