WIs can be very different some may be very craft orientated, others just want to have a speaker at their meetings whilst others may be focused on campaigns. Some WIs also have additional interest groups such as book clubs, theatre groups, walking groups, lunch or supper clubs etc. So, you may need to visit two or three WIs before you find the one that suits you best. You are not forced to join a WI when you visit but you may be asked to pay a visitor’s fee.

Every WI holds at least eleven meetings a year and there are various events and activities run by the Federation and our National organisation in which you can also take part.
