On Saturday 22nd November we held our annual Christmas fayre. It was very well supported by local suppliers, everything from images of the local area on calendars and prints, knitwear made from local yarn (some even from sheep reared on the Falklands), products from local bees, food and goods made by Ukranians, to a bottle stall and one of delicious home baking.
We had lots of visitors, many sustained by our renowned bacon butties and a hot cuppa! Even Santa stopped by. Funds raised go into the Hall coffers, Gt Ayton being one of only a few WIs in NYE federation who own and run their own hall.
