Come and take part in a lively, engaging and humorous conversation, based on our experiences, about the shifting nature of women’s place in society and what we would like to see for the future.
Our speaker is Dr Emma Casey, a senior sociologist at the University of York. Her research interests include domestic life and social media. She has recently published a fascinating book on the ways unpaid housework is being made more glamorous by being treated as empowering self-help in social media (a major element of modern life, whether we like it or not). Would you like things to be different?
There will also be a pleasant lunch. Please state any dietary requirements /allergies when booking.
