Join us in creating a hand embroidered vase with our Tutor, Gillian from Ping Winny.
You will be making a 4- or 5-sided vase approximately 17cm/7inches high. While it is mostly hand stitching, there is a small amount of machine stitching at the start. Gillian will be bringing a couple of sewing machines, but you are welcome to bring your own.
Let your imagination and stitching go wild, with one of these great fabric vases. We start with a basic template and from there you can decorate it in your favourite style and colour way. You can hand embroider, bead and embellish your vase and Gillian will bring threads, beads, dyed silks, scrims and other fancy bits to decorate with.
Bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee available on the day.
