There is a new date, venue and menu for the Chairman’s lunch in York. Glenda Young will still be the speaker but we will now be meeting on Monday 10th March at The Novotel, Fishergate, York at 12.00pm for 12.30pm.

Glenda is a published novelist who lives in the North-East where her saga novels are set. She has also written a series of cosy crime novels set in a Scarborough B&B, which were shortlisted for Best New Crime Series in The Dead Good Readers Awards.

Glenda is also the creator of the first ever weekly soap  opera “Riverside” published in The People’s Friend magazine. She was commissioned by ITV to write the official tie-in books about Coronation Street and runs two Coronation Street fan websites.
