Suzanne studied horticulture in Yorkshire before she turned to writing romance fiction. She draws inspiration from walking in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Her first novel, the Cottage of New Beginnings, was a contender for the 2021 RNA Joan Hessayon Award. Her eighth novel, Finding Home in Hartfell, was published in February 2025.
