We have just had our 1st Annual Meeting and celebrated our 1st Anniversary. It’s hard to believe that we were signing our WI Constitution 12 months ago in Hovingham Hall and embarking on a hectic year of new friendships, new experiences and new adventures.
From Yoga to Gin Tasting and everything in-between. We now have 50+ Members from Hovingham and the surrounding villages, from Helmsley to Malton. We are walking in the countryside, in and out of cinemas and theatres or reading, quietly, the book of the month.
We have recycled more than 1,500 empty medical blister packs and recently despatched an envelope of used stamps to the RNIB.
But what is a celebration without cake and fizz? Our Annual Meeting was a lively, buzzy affair. We elected our new President and we are now ready to make our next year bigger and better than the last!
