Make Your Own Bath Bombs and Beeswax Wraps Workshop

Join us at WI House to make your own bath bombs and wax wraps. In the morning, we will be guided through the process of making our very own bath bombs and fizzers, choosing from a variety of colours and scents and adding shimmer or petals to make them unique. We will learn the recipe and method to take home and have the confidence to make more on our own. By adding finishing touches such as gift bags, ribbons and tags they will make the ideal present.

After lunch we will learn how to make Beeswax Wraps, a handy and green alternative to cling film. We will make our own custom-sized wraps using simple and effective techniques which we will be able to replicate at home. We will make the wraps using 100% cotton material and 100% beeswax; so, they will be antibacterial, biodegradable, and compostable. They can be used for packed lunches and food storage in the fridge. Basic materials and equipment for both sessions will be provided by the tutor with additional materials available to purchase. If you wish you can bring your own cotton fabric for the wraps by upcycling an item such as an old shirt.
