Would you like to know how to take better photos using just your phone? Phones are now powerful and versatile but how many of us are using them to their full potential? Join Andrew Atkins, a professional photographer, on a photography walk around Thirsk on Monday, 11th May at 2.00pm and learn how to use your phone camera more effectively, gaining confidence in your photography skills.
The subjects you will photograph will include landscapes, architecture, nature and groups of people. By the end of the afternoon, you will have a better understanding of composition, lighting and perspective to enable you to create more professional-looking shots. As well as covering getting it right ‘in-camera’, Andrew will cover simple editing.
The afternoon will start at WI House with coffee / tea and a short introduction before setting out round Thirsk, ending back at WI House for a debrief and Q&A session.
